Hello everybody! Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! I enjoyed a beautiful fall in Michigan.  I left the States just before Thanksgiving and my birthday celebrations and now we are in the New Year.  Many of you who do not follow me on Facebook are waiting to hear of the miracles of God in my life since the last newsletter in September. Well.... Hold onto your seats because... Here we go!

Here is what God did with my cares.  (1Pe 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.) (NKJV).  I needed a minimum of $ 8,000.00 dollars to complete all the things that needed to be accomplished in the states. Here are the “cares” that we placed before the Lord and His response.

1. My father's health – He is doing much better and all 6 of us “kids” celebrated his 86th Birthday on October 4, 2015
2. My rent in Colombia paid – Thanks to a higher exchange rate and your giving, I was able to maintain my rent payments
3. Meals and transportation in the States – To those who cooked dinners, took me out and picked me up and Amy, I thank you!!!!
4. Taxes completed and a payment plan set up (unless God provides all at once) – WOW! That was the most challenging mental thing I have ever done! But, with the help of a very Godly tax preparer and friend, the taxes for AFAMMS and my personal taxes were updated and completed. A plan was set up for my personal taxes and we are still a registered organization
5. Transportation to Maryland round trip – The trip was cancelled and I met with my bishop over SKYPE. Thank God for technology! (Are you still praising Him?)
6. Transportation to Missouri round trip – Didn't need to go... My brother came up from Missouri.  What a blessing it was to see and spend time with him.
7. Motorcar for Colombia (Motorcar $5,000.00 including documents and insurance) – Do I still need a vehicle for Leticia? YES! The health insurance that I was affiliated with went bankrupt and changed its name. Sooo… I won’t be having any surgeries anytime soon and am at a point where a vehicle is extremely necessary. Even though a motorcar is very practical, a motor scooter is more economical ($2,000 dollars).  Please continue to pray for this need. Since the dollar is up, the cost of the scooter may be a little less. Once we change insurance agency, I will let you all know about the surgeries on my knee and foot.
8. Tickets paid for Leticia Colombia to Michigan round trip $676.20 – I went. I completed the taxes. I am back in Leticia, Colombia.  Thanking God that the trip was a success!

So the conclusion is: Even though the $8,000 dollars for the trip was not raised, God provided all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. I will need to pay $200.00 a month to the IRS until the debt is cancelled and I still need a vehicle whether Motorcar or Scooter.  God has blessed me with English students and (for now) a high exchange rate which are helping to pay the bills. I am content! THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL THOSE WHO PRAYED AND GAVE TO MAKE IT ALL POSSIBLE.

How fun! I had an opportunity to play my clarinet for two events this past holiday season. I did a fundraiser playing Christmas Carols on clarinet in a doughnut shop Dec. 23, 2015 raising money for the next Encounter event.  I would like those in the new Home Bible Study that I began in December to be able to attend the next Encounter Retreat without worrying about the cost. I also played for the Miracle Crusade on the 27th of December. We saw God do many miraculous healing of all kinds during this crusade.  The biggest miracle of all was the lives changed to the glory of God! Halleluiah!

This year has taken off at a very fast exciting pace! I have about 10 English students that are part of the evangelistic outreach that God has given me. I am also teaching a home Bible study with the purpose of discipleship toward multiplying leaders. I never knew how that little Wordless Book that my mother taught me would be such a major evangelistic tool.  Already some of the Bible study members are using it to witness the gospel message to others. Please keep this group that meets every Saturday night in my apartment in your prayers and that it would continue to grow. I am also continuing my studies with the REHMA Bible Institute.

March 31st I have been asked to be one of the speakers at the first Interchange of Indigenous Youth Conference in the Amazon.  There will be youth representing various different tribes in the region. This is a conference started by the tribes themselves without foreign aid. I am greatly honored to be asked to participate in this conference. Please pray for Godly wisdom to speak what God wants to be said at this time in the Amazon history for all of the conference speakers.

The first week of June Myah J Lane our new board member will be coming down for her first visit. Please pray for all the logistics of her trip. I am sure that God has a great plan for her visit here to Leticia.

If you would like to continue taking part in what AFAMMS is doing here in the Amazon, please put us on your prayer list. You can also send donations on PayPal at safricanamericanmobilization@yahoo.com to send donation for the vehicle you can connect to Go Fund Me on Facebook also, in snail mail at the above post office box in Redford, Michigan. God bless you all and just watch us take the Amazon for Christ J

Adventuring with Christ,
Min. Orchidy T Boyd
