"Led" by the Holy Spirit

What does it mean to be “led” by the Holy Spirit? It means that...”eyes have not seen and ears have not heard nor any imagination has entered into the heart of man what God has in store for those who love Him...” Yes! I am on an adventure.  In September, I had the opportunity to travel on the Amazon to a community that had never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The community had been closed to outsiders in order to preserve their culture but God gave us the opportunity to announce the real culture of humankind in the Kingdom of God to this community.  God confirmed our words to them with signs and wonders. Many people were healed of various infirmities while experiencing His peace and love in His presence.  The same happened the following week as we visited the public schools of Leticia sharing the gospel, praying for the sick and seeing the hunger of over 1,500 students for the presence of God.  We had a Christian Rock band that came at the end of the week from Bogota that ministered.  There is a hunger for the manifest presence of God in the Amazon.
About three weeks ago, Pastor Julio taught on the end times.  We cannot know the day or the hour but we can know the season.  In the parable of the Good Samaritan, the Good Samaritan gave the man a little extra incase the invalid needed more for his care.  I believe that we are in the time of a little extra because God is merciful and wants all those who would receive Him to have a chance.  I am humbled and honored to be a part of these exciting times.  How does all this relate to the leading of the Holy Spirit in my life?
Since coming under the covering of Mission Ministries (MDM), I have been encouraged and challenged to go deeper in my relationship with God.  A good friend of mine always says, “Out of relationship flows ministry.” One of the things that God has been impressing on my heart is the need to make sure all my affairs in the States are in order.  This will help me better administer the finances that come in and serve all those who choose to be a part of AFAMMS through prayer and giving. It will also allow me to have more freedom to minister here in Colombia without worrying about what is happening stateside.  One of the major focuses of MDM is discipling persons to make disciples also. February 2015 will be the beginning of a training school where some of those who will be sent to work in the river communities and other who desire to minister will attend.  I will be a part of this school teaching and taking some classes.  I am excited for the indigenous students that we ministered with along the river that will participate in the training school.  I can´t speak Ticuna, Cocama, or Yagua but, the indigenous students can.  They will be able to reach places that I could never reach.  I am at peace! I am seeing my dream of reaching the unreached with the Good News of reconciliation with God happen. MOREOVER, YOU ARE A PART OF THAT DREAMJ! Together we will see the wonders of God!
If you would like to give towards the expenses of the next 3 months while I am in the states, please send all donations to the PayPal account at safricanamericanmobilization@yahoo.com. You may also send donations to the PO BOX address in the letterhead above. I will be traveling and sharing with those of you who would like me to visit your group.  Just email me or message me on Facebook and we can see how to fit you in the schedule.  I will be in the states from Nov. 13, 2014 until the end of January 2015.  I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

Adventuring with Christ,
